I know this probably sounds like an obvious question, but I had an interesting experience a couple weeks ago I wanted to share with you guys.

I was checking in for a flight, had a problem with my baggage and decided to take a picture of one of the airline employees who was giving my friction. This employee then told me that I was not allowed to do so, and threatened to remove me from my flight, followed by another saying she was calling the police. I had never heard that I wasn’t allowed to take pictures in a public place, and felt the employee was attempting to intimidate me. This is not the first time a photographer has been told this, so there has to be something to it?

So what does the law say? Are certain subjects off limits in airports? And if so what are they?
