Michael, how do you normally meter when shooting into direct sunlight? On one of your videos I purchased, you were shooting on the beach and I believe you pointed the camera into the sand, metered, then shot the image so that the camera would not meter for the sun

Shooting into Sunlight I am almost always on Manual- I used that example with Exposure Lock on the DVD to explain its function, but if you think about it Manual IS a form of exposure lock.
