This evening we had a super fun shoot with Warren and his family. Im not sure if I have ever mentioned this on the blog before…when you shoot families, especially with younger children- try to approach it from a stand point of “lets play games”. Run around with them a little, play games like simon says, tag, hide and seek and try to get them to have a good time. If the kids are having a good time, you can take a step back and catch them what they do best (playing) which makes for awesome pictures. They will like you more, which will help them to co-operate more. Some children absolutely will not sit for a group photo….but if you play with them….the will be more likely to. 🙂 So many awesome pics!! These are my first few favorites. 🙂

WOW! That is a perfect shadow in the 3rd photo.
What a BEAUTIFUL family! And I think that is a fantastic tip, to play with the kids before/during the photo shoot…
I love the first shot. That little girls’ eyes are just beautiful! And those freckles! So sweet.
Great shots! We won’t bother to mention that you encouraged a child to play on railroad tracks! Ark!
You are so talented!
On the third picture I notice a slight glow around the little girl’s head did you photoshop that in?
Super cute family!!!!
Great Ideas Great photos I’ll be trying that on my little guy!!! Thanks
