I need to test my blog’s ability to YouTube video….here is a classic video…shot in the lab when I was still a PhD student studying genetics…still to consider the implications of this…..wow! Something to think about….Not great quality, but there is more to come. 😉

um – all I have to say is … That’s gross! I thought I was happy to kick my soda pop addiction before — but now, I’m much more satisfied with my choice! Thanks for the insight! 🙂
Want to know something equally scary? Take 70 grams of sugar and try to eat it plain. Its impossible. Even if you were to eat a spoonful and take a small drink of water, you will feel a strong ill sensation around the third spoonful. If you continue, it will make you sick. So why is it we dont feel that when we drink it? Most of the sugar bypasses our taste buds. Thats right, most of the sugar consumed in America never hits the taste receptors, only a small percentage. If you want a taste of sugar, you are much better off with candy.
What’s REALLY scary is to find out what happens to your body after you drink the soda…my friend who is in nutrition explained it to me once. I drink soda very rarely now because of it.
I look at soda as essentially a weak form of poison….it tends to help.
