Caught “The Town” a few days ago. Sorta felt like Heat/Point Break. The last heist was full of classic hollywood tension. t was a pretty good movie considering Ben Affleck Directed and if you don’t mind the violence and sex scene.
I don’t understand the animosity people have toward Affleck. I’m not big on a lot of his acting roles, but as a storyteller dude has some serious chops. He won an Oscar for Good Will Hunting. I’m sure if he had been a little more experienced the studio would have let him direct it. Gone Baby Gone was fantastic, another written & directed by Affleck flick. I have not seen the Town, but I have high hopes for it.
Have to agree with you there. He cowrote Good Will Hunting, he directed Gone Baby Gone…both of which were amazing, and from what I have read this movie is AWESOME and Oscar Worthy. Cut the guy some slack…
Lol- did you guys take my review as an attack on Ben Affleck? I could swore I just praised him and the movie- nothing in my comments were negative.
