Today’s entry is dedicated to our friend the Sun. We woke up at 3:30am to drive up Haleakela (10,000+ feet) to watch the sun come up. Ive done this a few times, but never had all my gear with me like I did today. If you ever come to Maui, this is a cool, fun activity and its worth waking up for. Had some great images so I thought I would share my favorite of the morning.
My good friend Mike Madsen is hanging out with me here on Maui- it must be nice to be on vacation with a someone who makes a living taking pictures. 🙂After we grabbed an incredible breakfast at Kula Lodge. In the afternoon we went on a boat trip to Molokini, where we snorkeled and had a nice relaxing time. We even saw a few whales on the way back. 🙂I have like 1000 pictures from today, but I must say I am ready to crash. More pictures tomorrow. 🙂
They sure are beautiful photos.
