Last Friday night I caught a late night showing of The Invasion with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig (the new James Bond). This film was the 3rd or 4th remake of the classic “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”, and while I can say I understand why so many people will not like this movie, I was surprised at the tension it commanded. This film is not for the squeemish, and it also probably goes too deep into cellular biology for the layman. If you go into this movie with really low expectations as I did, you will probably enjoy it. I thought the directing and acting were superb. The ending was a little weak and rushed, but otherwise it was a pretty good movie.
