I am still debating on whether or not to see Sanctum, I thought the trailers looked good but I am hearing awful things about it (did anyone see it?)
So instead, I started working on The 5 Languages of Apology, which was written by the same guy who wrote the Five Love Languages (Highly recommended and a very quick read- I promise you if you haven’t read it, it will greatly improve your relationships with friends, family and even strangers if you apply it’s principles.) Side note: I know some of these books probably sound a little girly, but make no mistake, excellent people skills is in my book one of the most powerful tools you can develop on your own and apply everyday.
The 5 Languages of Apology essentially teach that there are 5 different levels (also categorized as statements) which some people relate to bettter than others. The friend who recommended it told me she devised a customer service response based on the book, and I even used one of it’s principles yesterday with astounding results. Its worth the time and money to read. (But read the 5 Love Languages first).
Been working my butt off this week- looking forward to taking a break for the weekend. May test out the new 100-400 on whales tomorrow!
I’ve got the 5 Love languages, 5 Love Languages of Children and 5 LL of Teenagers – All fantastic books.
