Thanks to my editor Adam who let me borrow his computer to post these. Should know the severity and resolution of my Mac Book situation on Monday. Here are a couple pics from the last few days. The first is from Sugar Beach, near my pad. It is mostly empty the whole day. I am amazed by this each time I go for a run, walk or just to think. Its starting to feel like my own private beach.
1/320, f8 ISO 100, with a .9 Grad, edited (very slightly) in RAW. Mostly saturation and contrast. This was yesterday- It was at Secret Beach near Big Beach. Although small, this is probably one of my most favorite beaches on Maui. I LOVE it! SO cute! While I am not completely happy with this image, I feel I am making some improvements. It had been raining, so it was also empty.
Base image was exposed at: 1/50, f8, ISO 400. I took a second shot for the Sun on overlayed it. The grad filter wasnt working because of the cloud cover.
I love sunset pix what I would give to be there shooting some pix love the beach later
i like these a lot. more than the previous ones. did you post process them?
I like the subtle change in your "michaelthemaven.com" – Still very much there for viewers, but some how a little more classey – I Like 😀
Stunning. I love all the layers of the sunset, the rippling water, and the smooth sands. The second picture is beautiful like a painting. Artistic.
I love love love your sunset pics!
Michael,
Thank You for the tribute to Mark – the personal perspective, and your admiration for his qualities. I feel I know him – the pictures are the BEST. You have a gift!
Much appreciation, Judy
