To start with the Steadicam Volt has a pretty powerful team behind it; The Tiffen Company. Besides being one of the world’s leaders in lens filters and accessories, they are also the original inventors of ‘The Steadicam‘. Famed cinematographer Garrett Brown is working with the team on this project. He’s credited as the true innovator behind steadicam technology back in the 70’s. It gained popularity, and became a Hollywood cinematography staple, due to his work on the legendary film ‘Rocky’.

There are a few things that can make your video productions go from looking amateur to looking professional, camera movement is one of them. The Steadicam Volt is designed specifically for your smartphone. I’m assuming they used Kickstarter to gauge interest and they smashed their goal with ease.
