Silent World

“Silent World”is a project form artists Lucie & Simon where they have taken photographs at some of the most populated places around the world with only two people in the images. Awesome, great concept!
Could this be achieved by using a long exposure (with the help of a ND filter) and having the subjects stand still while everyone else in the scene is moving?
