I thought it was extremely good and would recommend seeing it in theaters. Aside from one major technical flaw in the writing, the storyline and script were very, very good. It had all the right elements of struggle and character development. The CG was as good as anything I’ve ever seen. While I wont spoil anything, the technical flaw has to do with gene therapy and how genetics of “altered” test subjects become hereditary, but I don’t think most viewers will notice. The story was pretty good because it explains not only how the Apes rose, but also why humans had fallen.
