This thing is teeny tiny! It is essentially a T4i in a much smaller body, with one cross type focus point instead of 9. DPreview has a great, detailed review posted. Look at the size comparison to the T4i! (Also note the built in flash!). 
I have every intention to do a Crash Course Tutorial Training Video on the SL1 as soon as I can get my hands on one. (Looks like mid-April).

Might the SL1 be an upgrade from my T1i? I’m very pleased with my T1i, but like the size of the SL1 and would consider it if it might be "better". My lenses are a Sigma 17-50 and Canon 100 2.0 and 200 2.8. Half of my pics are indoor volleyball and the other half is the general family, outdoor sports, landscape, travel, city, etc. Thanks.
