I am less than a beginner and very much a want-a-be. In my past I was a potter and painter and then disaster struck, and I lost the feeling and some use of my right hand. My family and husband thought I needed to to replace my art with photography. In the past I loved to take pictures to paint, so I can see why they thought this camera was a good thing. I can’t operate it. I cannot feel any of the buttons or the half position on the shutter release. By the time I look to see where to put my fingers I have lost postioning or the picture is blurry due to movement. I have thought of a tripod, but haven’t done it yet. (I have a two year old grandson who is my main subject at the moment.) I would love to become good and be able to sell my work (I miss that part of my life). So my question is: Is the a solution to my problem? I really love this camera, and I hate to sell it. But if I can’t use it what good is it. Are there good quality cameras out there that I could operate without so much difficulty? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. PS Your crash course on the 7D was awsome! Thanks
