Nostalgia seems to never go out of style. I guess that’s why the folks behind The Impossible Project have sales that are steadily increasing. Back in 2008, the team behind The Impossible Project bought the last factory in the world still manufacturing Polaroid film in Enschede, Netherlands. When they launched in 2010 they sold about 30-40 refurbished Polaroid cameras per month. Today they’re up to 2,500 cameras sold per month. They’re currently busy both selling the cameras and producing new film for them. If you have an old Polaroid camera lying around the house maybe it’s time to dust it off and see the creative possibilities.
