I woke up today dreading the fact that I would lose an extra hour of sleep, but I had forgotten, Hawaii has its own standard time, no Daylight Savings adjustments here. Thats right…I wont lose the hour until I get on a plane and fly back to the mainland. Equally weird to think about, is that Japan is always a day ahead of Maui, (especially when they are so close).

🙂 so true! Im staying at the Diamond now, I think it is totally geared for Japanese visitors, everyone speaks Japanese and all the little notes in my room are in Japanese. Dont get me wrong, its a sweet set up! 🙂
