Florian Fischer is the 3 time champ at the New York City Drone Film Festival in their “Dronie” category. What is a dronie? It’s a selfie done using a drone. How could you possibly make that interesting? Well, Mr. Fischer definitely knows how to do that.

The video opens with a pretty straight-forward explanation of exactly what a dronie is if you still need clarification. Then it opens on the creator Mr. Florian Fischer. That’s the opening of his selfie. He goes on to accomplish some seriously skilled control with an incredible long, single, shot.

I can’t find any more information on Florian or this video. The original article by FStoppers has many unanswered questions too. Maybe they’ll be able to catch up with him and get some answers. In the meantime it’s good enough to enjoy his awesome work.
