These were taken by my instructor Neil from the shore, I just handed him my 40D, with 70-200 + 2x Extender and asked him to get a couple shots. The first shows how I attached the camera to the boom ( Joby Gorillapod SLR ZOOM) and the second….well…its real!
Ha! When I looked at the second picture, I had the sudden impulse to say ‘fish out of water!’…I played Marco Polo FAR too much as a kid with my cousins…awesome pictures!! Looks like a lot of fun, I wanna try it one day.
That looks FANTASTIC, what are the odds of catching that "fish out of water"…!
