Sony E Mount Lenses
Sony FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS
Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 Lens for Sony E
Sony FE 50mm f/1.8 Lens
An Entry level Budget lens, reasonable performance with a few minor draw backs, namely flare, and dang...its motor is LOUD, thus not great for video, but bang for the buck, a tremendous value.
Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II
Finally got my hands on this one. It is superb! As good as the Canon 70-200 2.8, only native focusing for Sony. Paired up with my A7rii, this is a formidable duo and one of my favorite set ups to shoot now. You will not be disappointed.
Sony FE 85mm f/1.4 GM
Widely regarded as one of the very best 85mm primes for the Sony E mount.
Sony 10-18 f/4
This is a great wide angle lens for APSC. It's small and lightweight with fast autofocus. I own it and use it on both my A6500 and A7rii in Crop mode. Its a must have for gimbal work for video!
Sony 16-35 f/4
This lens is the best Sony available for wide angle on a full frame camera.
Sony 24-70 f.2.8
This is a master lens that is the pinnacle of Sony lens performance. It is right there with the Canon 24-80 2.8 and it lives on my A7rii most of the time.
Sony 28-70 f/3.5-5.6
This is a great all around kens for those starting out or on a budget.
Metabones Smart Adapter Mark IV for Canon
Great adapter that gives me speeds and sharpness nearly identical to native Sony lenses.
Sony 24-70mm f/4.0
This is a strong "all around" lens for E mount. It's focal range allows me to photograph everything from portraits to architecture. Great when I travel. Not the sharpest comparing to the G Master, but it was all we had for a while and it is sharp enough. I still reach for it often on both APS-C and Full Frame sensors because of it's compact size.
Sony 70-200mm f/4 Lens
This lens has a nice build, it reasonably fast, and offers reasonable IS. Not as fast or as sharp as the comparable Canon but still a very good lens. Its a nice substitute if the 70-200 G Master is not available.
Samyang 85mm f/1.4
For the price this lens can't be beat. It feels good in your hands with a nice build. It offers excellent bokeh even if the images are a little soft.
Sony 55mm f/1.8
Tack sharp, gorgeous bokeh, great walk around lens. It's small and doesn't weight a lot so you can bring it with you almost anywhere. One of the must buys for the E mount. Seriously. It is ridiculous and you won't be disappointed.
