My friend Dave Dugdale just posted a great review on the Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition. Something that is important about this video is that Dave mentions a lot of the problems users are going to run into, including:

– Poor Battery Life
– Variable Shutter Speeds
– Lens gets finger prints easy
– Locking up due to firmware issues (this is a big one).

There is some really excellent dolphin and whale footage in here, its amazing that the Maui footage was shot mostly on the Hero 3, which is a teeny tiny little camera:

I have yet to play with mine, but I sure hope I don’t have any issues with it. Ill let you guys know.
