I had such a wonderful engagement shoot yesterday with Ginny and Neal. We met up at Capitol Park in Tuscaloosa and then went down to River Road Park near sunset. Ginny and Neal are so much fun to be around….Ginny is always cutting up and laughing….its hard not to like someone who is so happy all the time. It was a great, great shoot- I have about 70 pictures from the shoot that were just awesome, here are just a few of my favorites. Thank you Ginny and Neal for such an awesome time! 🙂
(Now…its time to pack!! I have a wedding in Dallas, Texas this weekend, and then off to Maui for 10 days!- Lots of pictures to come!)
Wow! I LOVE that shot of her laughing that’s focused in on the ring because it’s such a fun shot and the one with her head on his shoulder because it is sweet and just simply beautiful from the lighting to their expressions to the background…fantastic!!
Great pictures as always Mike! I also love the one of her laughing while focusing on the ring. I really like all the textures in the last one from the rocks to the grass to the fine material in her dress. I’m so excited for wedding season to see more of your work!
They are all so beautiful. Every single one!
Wow, spot on as usual.
Brilliant!
Hey Michael, I wanted to ask if you would ever consider printing the shutter speed, lens and other useful info on the pictures for us to see what settings you used. I know it may be a bit difficult to show all with this info bu just a thought for you to consider.
Thanks.
Hi Gary- I really wish I could do that for every picture, unfortunately, it would slow me down so much I couldnt be productive on the new videos. I will say this about Ginny and Neal’s shoot, most of the photographs you see were taken in Av mode at 2.8 with either a 24-70mm or my 70-200 IS. The very first one was f 5.0, and the sunlight shot was manual at f 8.0 and 1/1000. The best advice I can give, is to learn to see and shoot in pure shade as much as possible.
Thanks for the quick reply and advice!
You are welcome Gary!
