This is an excellent portrait camera that I take with me on many shoots. The built in flash, headphone jack, 2 card slots, and great live view focusing make it a great choice. It has a great focusing system even in low light thanks to it’s built in AF assist lamp. However, it’s performance is lacking when the lamp is turned off. The focus accuracy if servo mode for things like sports photography is excellent.

In video mode the camera has some issues with aliasing and moire but the dynamic range is good. Overall I think the camera would be a great choice for an amateur or semi-pro videographer.
