This is my go to Recommendation for those just getting into flash. Its affordable, and covers most of the same features you will find on a high end flash system. This variant uses 4 AA batteries for which I use rechargeables, as I did when I was in the wedding photography industry. There are other variants that use rechargeable lithium batteries that are also just as good.
