A less expensive alternative to the T4i, it has the same sensor, articulating monitor, and video features. It also is the only camera with a built in video zoom feature, which I wasn’t too impressed with. I really do think investing the extra money for the T4i is worth it (you get 9 cross type focusing squares, and the touch screen monitor), but if you are on a budget and want to go Canon, the T3i Rebel is an excellent choice. I’m just blown away to think this technology is available for under $600. Its a great time to be a photographer!
