This movie had a really REALLY “low budget” feel to it. Probably some of the most awful camera work (half the shots were out of focus) I have ever seen. I like Terrance Howard, I think he is a great actor. This is one of those movies if you have super low expectations for it and like MMA (mixed martial arts) you will enjoy it. It was a decent movie, better than Obsessed, and probably best as a rental. Did anyone see the Soloist? I cant decide if I want to see it or not, it just looks….kinda boring. 🙂
I liked the Soloist. It is not a fast moving film, but it deals with the mentally ill and the homeless in a very real way. The audience gets a view into this person’s mind and shows them just how confusing things are for him. I also enjoyed it, because it reminded me of when I was first introduced to classical music and how much I loved attending the Symphony. I’m glad I chose to see it over Fighting.
