If you are a fan of The Shining, this is a must see in theaters. Temper your expectations because Doctor Sleep is not going to be the classic masterpiece that The Shining is. Kubrick was just too good. Fans of the book probably won’t like it as much either, however, if you want to know the next chapter of that story in movie format, this is a home-run.
