As many of you know by now, yes, I am on Maui for nearly the next 3 weeks, mainly to shoot the 580ii/430ii Speedlite DVD, but to also have some fun. Today I switched hotels, I was at the Marriott in Wailea, which is really awesome, but at the recommendation of my sister-in-law Cami, I decided to check out the Diamond Resort just up the hill. Its an older resort…but WOW….I LOVE IT!! The rooms are HUGE and there is TONs of great vegetation and textures galore. The best part…NO ONE is here. It will make a fantastic location to shoot. The place is practically empty and the Marriott was booming. (There were people everywhere!!). Ill be here for a week and then back to the Marriott.
