Wow! Verrrry interesting.
BTW- This was exposed with a flash. I turned off all the lights in my hotel room, opened the shutter and started to vigorously shake my head around. I used a 580ii speed light in my left hand to capture the motion (as this pulse is very fast), and then closed the shutter. It gave me a headache.
