Spent a good 2 hours of today’s workshop finishing the cataloging, numbering, organizing, posting and judging of all the images sent it to the photography contest. Kelly has done a great job with it, there are so many things to keep track of. We have narrowed it down to the top 10 images in each category. I took pictures of each wall, so I will be posting more images tomorrow. Just wanted to post this 365 before I crash. (There are 3 categories here, Macro, Abstract and Portraits).
I absolutely wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of you who entered. You all have such wonderful and different ways to compose and I loved seeing your world through your eyes. It was extremely hard to narrow it down to the top 10 as most of them were really outstanding.
More to come!
Haha… I feel nervous now! There are some very neat shots that have been submitted. Good luck to everybody!
I see my pictures on the wall. That is so crazy to see the pictures like that. Love it.
Are all the macros on the wall? dont see mine 🙁 these pictures are amazing! Wow good luck everyone! Fingers crossed!
If I’m right, there are something about 143 pictures at the wall. As Michael said, there was 251 entries (right?), so there are still 108 pictures just for the sports and landscape/nature categories, hehe (what a useless comment, hahaha).
Good luck to every one 🙂
WOW! This is so amazing. There are so many awesome pictures on the wall! Good luck everyone!!
LOL, and you were worried about having so few entries, that is awesome! I can see my baby on the wall! 🙂
Awesome shots up there! Good luck everyone!
I think I see my abstract. Woo Hoo!
I can’t believe I didn’t get my act together to submit a portrait. I printed one but it ended up not looking very good because I took it before I know about "parallelity problem".
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!
I’d love to see the top 10 from each category posted.
Congratulations, Michael, for such a stellar number of submissions! Even at this distance, the quality of the work is just amazing! What a talented group of folks. I’m throwing in the towel in the portrait category, for sure. Wow. Beyond the fact that it’s a contest, I really think it speaks to the overall level of passion for photography that’s out there. Quite impressive.
Wow… amazing outcome. this is great..
I was so glad Michael had to pick the winners from the photography submissions. There were many great shots.
Wow, there a lot of good pictures on that wall! Good luck to everyone who entered!
What do the pink and green tags mean?
The tags identify the image with a category and number. Some categories were different colors. Occasionally we would have an image submitted under one category, but we made some judgment calls and moved a few around. If they had already submitted another in that category, we picked the strongest of the two and removed the weaker from further consideration. We had this happen in about a half dozen instances.
