I remember visiting this site…I was amazed at how somber I felt…and at the other war memorials I went to…
I took my 12-year old son to DC last year to check things out and this was the most emotional of our stops. I have a (similar) picture of his reflection in the memorial while he is completely deep in thought, trying to comprehend how many people this really is. It’s one of my favorite pictures from the whole trip. Thanks for putting this one on the 365. 🙂
