Tonight I assembled my Ikelite Housing. Wow…this thing is ridiculous. (Quite big and heavy- but rated down to 200′). By now you should be able to see the theme in my 365. Looking forward to taking it out next week.
Single long exposure with a strobe light?
I’ve seen this done by Matt Nicolosi a fair amount – I have my own manner of doing it using the extration tool with several different exposures, simply extracting the main object, and then adding them in as layers while adjusting the opacity – but I figure there must be a different way. I love the look.
It’s too early for me to think 🙂 but I like it.
Was it done in Bulb settiing with an open shutter, using the Strobe feature from two 580EX Flashes?

Many of you go this right. It was 2 580 Speedlites on strobe mode, triggered with a remote timer, exposure was 1 second.
