Ted Forbes runs the photography channel on YouTube called ‘Art of Photography‘. He’s coming up with some really great assignments to encourage photographers to push themselves creatively. In the video he delves a bit into the science/psychology behind the creative thinking.

The assignment sounds pretty straightforward but the lesson behind it is pretty cool. He wants everyone to shoot 10 photos of the same “scene” or “subject” in 10 different ways. The idea is for photographers to exhaust their usual way of doing things and dig a little deeper to come up with news ways to approach a photograph.

You should join along because it could make you start thinking a little differently and get out there and have some fun. He’ll be releasing more assignments in the coming weeks so if you love doing assignment or maybe feel like you’re in a rut creatively maybe this can get you up and running again.
