Really mixed thoughts on this one. It felt like it was a touch bit more writing and better editing away from being really great. Many loose ends in the story, but overall the opportunity to get into a theater and see anything on a big screen was a welcome relief for me. It would make for a good home rental, and not everyone will like it in theaters, but it was worth it to me. Daisy Ridley’s character felt a little too close to her Star Wars counterpart Rey.

Michael, found a little gem on amazon prime… movie/doc called Speed and Angels. WOW. just wow, real footage of the last two trainees turned aviators in top gun school flying the f-14 topgun. basically a real life journey of the movie top gun. two tales a male and a female that fought thru adversity to become pilots. if you haven’t seen it definitely check it out and crank the speakers up. have a great day. dk
