Check it out- A point and shoot camera that shoots video in variable frame rates: 210 fps, 420 fps or 1000 fps (though you lose resolution and pixel dimensions at these higher speeds). They have had a larger point and shoot that would do similar type video (youtube.com is filled with videos for the EX-F1, which is about the size of a Canon Rebel). This thing is about an inch thick. It will also take 30 FULL SIZE images in a second, allowing you to capture a batter’s swing etc….that’s impressive.
