Been shooting with the Canon Mirrorless M Camera for a while now and have a couple videos coming out on it, the full review should be posted tomorrow. Its a great little camera, but I will be honest when I say that the focusing systems are a little bit tricky, even for me, even having shot with the Canon T4i for months now. The reason I bring up the T4i is because there are many, many similarities between the two cameras which I will discuss on that review. Out of the box, I think most shooters are going to really wrestle with all the different focusing modes which is why I made this video. The truth be told, there are so many focus settings on the Canon Mirrorless M camera, that if it is not set up correctly, it will be difficult to get good results, even for an experienced photographer. There are 3 auto focus types, with 4 different types (one has 2 in them), 2 focus drives, a tracking setting and if you want to focus manually, there is menu setting for that.
And yes, it is one of the many lessons coming from my newest Canon Mirrorless M Crash Course Tutorial Training DVD Video, which should be available sometime next week for download, followed by a DVD in mid-December, just in time for the holiday season!
