London based artist Claire Brewster uses old and out-of-date maps and atlases to create her beautiful works of art. These delicate sculptures are thoughtfully carved out of the remains of prints that would (most likely) otherwise be seen as useless.
Many times she crafts these intricate designs by hand but these particular works were done using a laser printer. Her area of interest is the natural world and the repeating theme is flora and fauna. The pieces are either pinned directly to a wall or for larger pieces they are framed.
