Had 2 blog readers tip me off to going to the Shuttle Launch in Titusville this morning at 5:40am. Im an hour away in Orlando, and its recommended I get there an hour before launch, which means I should prob be heading to the car around 3am-ish. Wow…I am so excited, I would just LOVE to see an photograph a shuttle launch!! I hope there arent any issues with the fuel leaks like they had on Friday. I only have 2 camera bodies with me: 5DII 16-35 2.8 (Ill use for the wider shots) and I think I am going to go with the new T1i, + 2x extender + 70-200mm 2.8 (~640mm Equiv) for the reach on closer shots.

Shuttle Launch is scrubbed! Boo! Oh well, at least I was ready to go! Ill have to keep an eye out to see if I can make the reschedule. 🙂
I have seen mixed reviews about the 70-200 and 2x extender, what are your thoughts?
I was there once and it is an awesome view to see. Hope you are able to make the reschedule, your shots would be incredible….
