Took the day off and just went out to shoot for the sake of shooting. Not something I get to do much of anymore, but I greatly enjoyed it. I feel sometimes with all the work that it takes to produce a DVD, arrange workshops, etc, its easy to get disconnected and forget how much fun photography can be. I spent a good 2 hours and got so involved with the landscape I dont think I made it more than 200 feet from my car.
I had a negative experience today and I cant find any good reason to share it with you, so I wont.
I have found that I tend to avoid people that constantly spew out negativity. I would much rather be alone. If something bad happens to me, I try to look at it as an opportunity to learn, but sometimes negative things happen just because. If there is a lesson learned, some insight, warning, pre-caution, etc, thats different, but negativity for the sake of negativity is a complete waste of time. No one wants to hear about some bird pooping on your window, you getting upset at your co-worker, in-law problems, you losing your lens cap, the fact the yes its hot outside, or even a headache you may have.
If you dont like your situation, change it.
Choosing not to change your current situation, is the same as choosing your current situation.
If you choose not to do something about your problem, then you really don't have a right to complain about it.
If you choose to do something about your problem, then you already know that talking about it just for the sake of talking about it accomplishes nothing.
