Panasonic 12-35 2.8 V1 & v2 vs Olympus 12-40 2.8 Non-IS | Best Micro 4/3 General Purpose Lens?
If you are a micro for third format camera owner and own something like a GH4 or the GH5, or EM1ii, then you're probably going to want a general purpose video lens.
These are my top three picks and also the differences between each of them depending on what camera you're using, as well as what purposes.
TL:DR-
GH5 Owners, go with the V2
EM1ii Owners, go with the Olympus, which is my favorite of the 3 for quality
Panasonic IS Lenses don't play well on the EM1ii
V1 is a high quality, low cost IS solution for the GH4 and other non IS (non- IBIS Olympus) bodies.
