Bird's-eye View of Parkour Athlete in Bulgaria Looks Like A Video Game
Parkour is a highly athletic activity that turns the whole world into the athlete's obstacle course. Ilko Iliev is the stuntman from Bulgaria featured in this high-energy and super fun video. It was shot by photographer and videographer Marin Kafedjiiski. National Geographic shared it as part of their Short Film Showcase series.
As National Geographic explains in the video's description: "Blurring the lines between real life and fantasy, this death-defying drone film is an adrenaline-fueled adventure from start to finish. Daredevil stunt man Ilko Iliev sprints, leaps, and swims through a heart-pounding obstacle course as drone operator Marin Kafedjiiski captures the action from above. Shot in Bulgaria, the film creatively explores the country from a bird’s eye perspective—including mind-bending shots of famous sites like the abandoned communist monument at Buzludzha peak."
This video shows what a little effort and a lot of creativity can produce. A memorable short film with a whimsical but edgy appeal. Check it out and I hope everybody enjoys it.
