It starts at the point of importing them into your editing software to then give them the tilt-shift effect. Even if you're not interested in the look of tilt-shift it's always fun to go along with these tutorials because you'll always learn something new.
He offers three simple rules to makes sure you can get it right in post:
- Get the angle right - pointing down at 30-45 degrees
- Keep that contrast and saturation up.
- Keep the shutter speed fairly fast - 1/60th or faster.
