In an effort to promote NASA’s non-Commercial UHD Channel in North America they teamed with Harmonic (a delivery infrastructure solutions company) to produce an incredibly stunning video. Shot in ultra-high definition 4K video in the time-lapse format it shows the captivating natural phenomenon of Aurora Borealis and Aurora Australis.

Humans have been awed and inspired by Aurora since recorded history but never before have we seen it from above in such astonishing clarity. For those of us who might never get the chance to see it in person, this has to be the next best thing. What a great watch! Check it out below.
