Yesterday the U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx announced a task force dedicated to setting up the rules for a national unmanned aircraft registry. The group will be comprised of both citizens and government workers. They hope to complete the details by Christmas. They threw out a threat of "consequences" if anyone is caught flighting an unregistered drone.
