Barring any unexpected surprises we should see the Nikon D750 Tutorial Training Crash Course available for download on or before October 9th, 2014. We should be wrapping up most of our principle shooting later today, and then we go into post production which typically takes about a week.

I've been also getting a lot of questions about the D750 itself and how it compares to the Canon 5Diii .

First, the D750 is a BEAUTIFUL full frame camera. Wonderful focusing systems, very responsive, fast, accurate, high speed burst is very snappy. A lot of the controls have changed from previous Nikons. I believe there will be a firmware update shortly to correct the wifi security flaw (it seems anyone can jump onto your camera wifi if they have the Nikon app) and there is also a glitch when shooting with exposure compensation on and changing your modes. Other than that, wow....this is a freaking awesome camera.

Is it better than the 5Diii? Well, the 5D3 is a 3 year old camera, keep that in mind, and a lot of image quality comes down to glass. The 5Diii with a Canon 24-70 2.8L is going to be very hard to beat, but that said, I really like what I am seeing on the D750, and without having done any side by side tests, it does seem to match up very well with the 5Diii. At more than $1100 less than the listed 5Diii price, the short answer is going to be yes, you will get more bang for your buck with the D750, which is also the first full frame camera with an articulating monitor, (the tilty, not flippy type), you will see better DR. Nikon has very compelling full frame competitor to the 5Diii.

We have also decided on a cover, which is a beautiful Maui sunset (one of my favorite things to photograph!):
We will update this page as soon as the video is ready for download! Thank you for your patience and support!
