Had 2 really great assessments today with Craig and Andre, one was for food (we have some pictures of this coming soon) the other was for building materials for home repair. We also loaded the truck up today and the Salvation Army distributed 39,000 meals. Big things are happening, we have a larger shipment ~405,000 meals coming this week, and if the funding is approved, up to triple that amount shortly thereafter. I pray that funding is acquired because these people really need it. Tomorrow am I will be going out again with Craig and the Salvation Army for assessments on who to give the food to. I feel honored and privileged to work with SA and especially Craig Arnold who is extremely talented with the logistics part (moving the goods). It also means that we will be unloading and loading an absolutely ridiculous amount of food by hand. This next shipment should take about 4.5 hours of working non-stop…looks like we will need more hands.

Had a great conversation with Craig tonight about everything thats going on, where we have been together (Haiti) and possible future plans for my own aid group.
