I’ve been taking pictures of my good friend Warren since each of them was born. Many of you will recognize them from some of my tutorial training DVDs. I am often asked: How do you get kids to co-operate for portrait sessions?. Probably the biggest secrets are: 1. Do not treat or talk to them like you would an adult. 2. Let them have fun and be kids. I go into all of my tips and tricks for shooting children on my Advanced Photography Techniques Tutorial

Warren’s kids probably have an advantage with me simply because we have a lot of fun together and they are used to me taking their pictures, but these were from a quick 10 minute session right before church on Sunday, all shot with a Nikon D600 & Nikon 24-70 2.8 ED . All images straight out of the camera.

Notice how the WB is leaning yellow and greenish? Still thought they came out great!
