Just a friendly reminder to everyone out there who follows this blog; my 4th Annual Photography Contest is right around the corner. The reason I am giving everyone a heads up now is because images can be taken within the last
year.
What this means is that you can start getting ready NOW by going out and looking for great shots for the remainder of the summer.
Categories will include:
- Portraits
- Landscapes
- Wildlife/Animals/Pets
- Macro
- Abstract/Textures
- Sports
It is possible we may add another 2-3 categories, as well as a special division for younger shooters (under 16).
We have some excellent sponsors lined up, but are still looking for a few more.

support@michaelthemaven.com. The contest brings in TREMENDOUS exposure, we had a spike of about 70,000 new unique visitors during the contest last year. It is a great way to get your name out there.
Selected sponsors will be included in the Contest Banner which remains up for the duration of the contest, they will be mentioned in the video prepared by Michael, listed in contest details- along with hyperlinks to their webpage, and will also have an individual article written about them on the blog.
