I am somewhat embarrassed to say I wasnt able to narrow it down to much less than 300 images for the nominees. Outstanding work. Probably the best I have seen for any category for any contest I have ever done, (and there are still 4 more categories to go through!).
A note...there are about 30 images that were reassigned to the "Abstract" Category, many, many great shots there.
It was heartbreaking to not nominate at least 150 other images of the 700+ submitted, but they were just too similar to other better shots. In my notes, I have at least 20 1st place winners here. It will come down to judges points and blog viewers votes.
