Steno for FREE. (It will actually let you use Steno for free if you don't mind re-installing it every 20 uses. While the Apps are just one little part of my business, I am learning a lot of cool things about developing them. Its a very new industry, rapidly evolving and there is so much more to learn.
Truth be told, I use Steno more than any other App I have made (including the contract makers). I use it at least 4-5 times a week just for the GPS texting features. Nate Farnsworth and I used it almost everyday in Japan to communicate with each other and let each other know where we were. We are also developing some awesome new features for it, they should be coming out in the next month or two.
Steno is utility App that gives you all kinds of more tools when communicating by text or email. Want to send a group/team text or email by iPhone in less than a few seconds? No problem! Again, however, I am finding I use GPS text more than anything. While we have some new videos on it coming very soon, you can use this feature simply by:
1. Clicking "Text" (its the bright blue screen)
2. Select "My current location"
3. Select Blank Recipient"
4. Preview
5. Send and then type in the name of the person you want to send it to.
Its very fast, about 5 seconds.
