Remember a couple months ago when I said I did something that scared the bejeekers out of me
This was it….Ive been working on this for a while, taking classes, going to the wind tunnel, etc. Did 2 jumps on Saturday (and almost a third). Its so much easier now.
I feel extremely good about conquering this fear. 🙂
There are two main places to skydive in Utah, Sky Dive Utah (which is located in Tooele) and Sky Dive Ogden. Ive done a few jumps at both places and all I can say is Sky Dive Utah (the one in Tooele) is the better of the two and thats all I want to say about that. I felt very well taken care of and my instructor Phil is a total stud. He has dozens of dives on Youtube.com.
If you live in the Utah area and are up for a dive, I will probably be doing my last dive of the year this week, hit me up if you want to join me!
Way to go Michael! I am so afraid of heights just watching that gave me chicken skin.
You are one crazy person, Michael! But congrats on conquering your fear!!
congrats i think i’d pass out on the way down
Dude That is AWESOME!!
Ok, my hands are all sweaty now after watching that.
wow…..
Are you kidding me?! I’m with Alex! My palms are sweating like a St. Bernard in a tanning booth. Unbelievable. I thought this was an indoor lark kinda thing! Please don’t jeopardize my primary source of photography information! Stay on the ground already.
I have no idea how I inspired one of my friends to learn how to skydive. But he will be making his final certification jumps by Spring of 2009. New England weather has shorter time window for jumps. He asked me to photograph him on his final jump, and I will post on forum.
Ah ha!!! I knew it!!! My daughter jumped her first time last summer and LOVED it!
Congrats, what a view
OMG!!!! I got excited just watching you! I could never do it but OMG!!!! Way to go Prof. Andrew!!!!
Wow! I loved it. Felt like I was there. I just wet my pants a little, haha.
